Art Parade
Originally planned for Saturday 6th, the NY Art Parade 2008 has unfortunately been cancelled due to a severe storm warning. Deitch Projects, Creative Time and Paper Magazine (the organizers of this event) said they were trying to reschedule it for spring 2009.
It would be the fourth art parade in NY, where artists, performers and designers can create floats, balloons, placards, portable sculptures, performances and street spectacles. Celebrities like Jim Drain, street artist Barry McGee, Yoko Ono, Dzine, The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black and graffiti artist Kenny Scharf were expected to show up.
An artistic parade, that's brilliant! How comes we don't have this in Brussels??
